SUSAN & HER MAJESTY QUEEN SIRIKIT OF THAILAND
In November of 1992, Susan Jeske was invited by the Thai Arts & Cultural Committee to sing the Thai and US National Anthems for Her Majesty Queen Sirikits 60th Birthday Celebration. Susan founded the “International Friendship Thru Beauty” delegation and negotiated and organized 12 National and International Beauty Queens that would use their “Crown For A Purpose” and travel with her to help raise money for the Queens Favorite Charity - a poor children’s hospital in Bangkok, Thailand.
During their 2 week stay in Thailand, the delegation made over 42 scheduled appearances, featured in 50 newspapers, 10 national TV shows and was on the cover of 3 magazines. The delegation of queens raised $92,000 at one fundraising event. Ms. Jeske served as Presidential Envoy and Goodwill Ambassador by presenting to Her Majesty letters of congratulations from Presidents Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan.
